What defines us

What inspires us

At the beginning of each year, Carglass Suisse SA organizes an "Awards" evening for all employees in Switzerland. During this evening, we celebrate the jubilees of our colleagues who are celebrating 10 and 20 years of service with Carglass Switzerland S.A, BEPA awards (Belron Exceptional People, Award), Giving back to the society efforts, and lots more.

We organize snowshoeing outings in winter, pedal boat trips on Lake Geneva in summer, BBQs in early summer, common evening meals throughout the year, a Christmas dinner, Pizza Parties for all colleagues.

Last year, during the summer heat wave, we organized an ice-cream tour for all branches in Switzerland and our head office in Signy.

During the World Cup, we organized a prize pool and made a meeting room available for our colleagues to follow the matches.

If the coffee machine breaks down, our CEO personally takes coffee orders from his employees and goes to the shopping center to pick up their coffee.

Every Monday, there is a delivery of fresh fruit. For holidays like Easter we distribute chocolate bunnies.

In the branches, teams often organize BBQs for lunch or at cocktail hour after closing.

Application tips

We ask candidates to express themselves with concrete examples of how they will define their expectations in relation to the company's culture, and to give examples of their previous job. When recruiting, we ask specific questions about personality. We are very transparent about our expectations and the fact that we choose candidates based on their technical skills and personality.

Examples:

We request technicians to do a one-day trial in subsidiary so that we can see their interactions with teams, customers and of course get an impression of their technical skills. Once the candidate is selected, he or she will undergo a two-week training course (in our training center in Fribourg) during which he or she is regularly evaluated and hence feedback is given.

 

Our great workplace

For positions with managerial responsibility, we assess the candidate(s) during a thorough assessment center after a series of interviews. The assessment includes an individual presentation on a specific subject, role-playing, and a business case study.
